3D Secure
3D Secure is an extra layer of security in using your credit card for online transactions. Sellers are asked to enter their 3D Secure password or one time PIN –which they register with their bank– to authenticate that they are the actual cardholder.

Is my purchase under warranty and when does the warranty period start?

Any product purchased on the Ackermans website carries a 12 month limited warranty. The warranty is subject to the same rules as the standard manufacturer warranty. For full warranty cover details, please refer to your manufacturer’s guide and/or website.

Can I order from a location outside South Africa?
This service is only applicable to South Africa. 

Does the price include shipping?
Ackermans offers free delivery for any order R500 and over. Any order placed under R500 will carry an additional R99 delivery fee. 

How can I return and faulty or unwanted product?
In the unlikely event that a product is defective/faulty or unsuitable for which it was indicated in the product description, please visit your nearest Ackermans branch for immediate assistance. The store will perform an assessment of the item, and if the item is found faulty within the first 7 days of receipt, the store will be able to process a refund for value of the purchased item, or exchange the item for another item to the same value of the purchase price. Please note that delivery fees are not refundable. If the fault has occurred outside of the first 7 days of receipt, the store will book the item in for repair. 

How long does it take to deliver?
All orders are processed within 1 working day of receipt. For delivery in major towns and cities, you can expect 5 – 7 days for delivery. For smaller and rural towns shipping can take up to 7 – 10 days. Delivery times are estimates and we offer no guarantee against any delay.

My product was damaged on arrival; can I send it back with the courier immediately?
All products should reach you in perfect condition, but if a parcel arrived partly or completely damaged you should refuse delivery and write the issues directly onto the delivery form in the presence of the courier company. Once a parcel has been refused, please contact us immediately for further assistance.

Can I collect my purchase from my closest Ackermans branch?
Currently we do not offer a Collection service. If you wish to purchase a product you have seen online, please visit your nearest Ackermans store to view the full range of products available and make complete the purchase in store.
